Hi Chase. Thanks for the nudge for part 2. As you discovered, chronic pain is hard to comprehend until you have it yourself. I was definitely guilty of that. I’m now extremely curious about the mechanism of how CBD works. I also would appreciate more research into dosage levels. I see no downside to high dosages and we are getting up to 5,000mg in tinctures.

My back surgeries were inevitably life changing, no more farming for me, eventually. But there were years of 100 hour weeks fueled by an array of pills. I’d sit on tractors for 15 hour days, bolstered by pain meds, but eventually you hit a wall.

Your injury and the aftermath compartment syndrome look horrific. One would never know you had suffered an injury that serious. Glad you found an answer, and look forward to next installment!
